LITTER - Less than one week in and reports of litter at Soulseat and the White Loch. CCTV cameras are in operation at various locations.  Cattle, dogs or wildlife picking up discarded tackle or litter could result in us loosing our right to fish!!  ...more

Latest news - Warning!! The field leading down to where the White Loch boat is moored is not passable even for 4wd vehicles. I am in touch with Stair Estates to try and arrange an alternative location and will keep you advised. Discarded tackle!! - The committee have received notification from the Stair Estates factor reporting another find of discarded fishing tackle at Lochinch. This is the latest of a number of finds and has resulted in the death of a wild bird. We have asked if we could get the items to see if they are recognised by anybody. 28/07/2020 – Black Loch Parking - Our landlord - Stair Estates have reopened the gardens to visitors and in doing so have introduced a one way system. Unfortunately for members of SDAA, this means the black stables are no longer available for anglers to use for parking. We have been given an alternative solution to parking but to avoid the chance of misuse by members of the public and non-association members, we have been requested not to publically advertise this additional parking area.
