Founded in 1947 Stranraer and District Angling Association offers visiting anglers a diverse choice, from remote
wild brown trout fishing, to a well stocked user friendly loch especially suited to the younger and disadvantaged
anglers as well as those wishing to explore the fishing whilst visiting the area.

The Association welcomes visitors who will find members always happy and willing to offer advice, however don’t
necessarily expect them to share all their secrets!!!

End of Season News - #One of the best ever seasons for brown trout at Soulseat. They just kept coming on Spinning, Bait and Fly almost certainly some of the best brown trout in Scotland if not the U.K. This is the result of many years of stocking fingerling trout a policy that we intend to continue for our members to enjoy in the years to come even when the present committee are long gone!!!
