About Us

Founded in 1947, Stranraer and District Angling association offers visiting anglers a diverse choice from remote brown trout venues, exceptional pike fishing to well stocked, user friendly lochs. There are venues suited to younger anglers and differently abled anglers as well as those wishing to explore and fish whilst visiting the area. There are also two dedicated platforms at either end of Soulseat Loch which allow disabled anglers to access the excellent fishing.

The Association welcomes visitors. They will find that local anglers are always willing to offer advice.
