During the Prime Minister address to the Nation on Monday 23rd March 2020.
It was announced that the Government would be implementing additional measures in response to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Global Pandemic.
These include the following clear instructions –
Stay at home
• Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
• Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
• Wash your hands as soon as you get home

In light of these new measures, Stranraer & District Angling Association will be closing all association waters with immediate effect.
This situation will be reviewed following any further developments and Government announcements.

For those members still prepared to flout the rules by hiding their car and sneaking round to quiet spots on our waters, please read the following from Rule 16 of the 2020 permit –

Any member whose conduct is liable to bring the Association into disrepute may, at the discretion of the Committee, be suspended sine die.
